Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These terms govern your use of DishFare as a food blogger on the platform. By accepting your invitation and using DishFare, you agree to these terms. DishFare is operated by Mary Ruddy, trading as DishFare, Dingle, County Kerry, Ireland. Contact: hello@dishfare.com

1. What DishFare is

DishFare is a fully managed recipe discovery platform. We ingest recipes from food bloggers' existing blogs and make them discoverable to home cooks in a clean, ad-free environment. We never publish full recipe methods or instructions — we surface titles, short descriptions, and photography where available. Every recipe links directly back to the blogger's blog. DishFare is not affiliated with Pinterest, Google, or any other platform. We are an independent service.

2. Eligibility

Blogger registration on DishFare is invitation-only. To be eligible you must:

Home cook registration is open to anyone aged 16 or over.

3. What we do

On acceptance of your invitation, DishFare will:

We handle all of the above. You are not required to upload, schedule, pin, or take any action on the platform to maintain your presence.

4. What you agree to

By joining DishFare you confirm that:

5. Content ownership

You retain full ownership of all your recipes, photography, and content at all times. DishFare does not claim any rights over your content. We surface a limited subset of your content (as described in clause 1) for discovery purposes only, with a link back to your blog. If you leave DishFare, all references to your content will be removed from the platform promptly and confirmed in writing.

6. Listing and data

Your listing on DishFare is free. We do not charge for listing your recipes or for the traffic DishFare sends to your blog. If optional paid features are introduced in future, separate terms will apply to those features and you will be notified at least 30 days in advance. Nothing is ever charged without your explicit consent.

7. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

Breach of these terms may result in immediate removal from the platform.

8. Platform availability

DishFare aims to maintain continuous platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary platform unavailability.

9. Changes to the platform

DishFare is a growing platform. We may add, change, or remove features over time. We will notify active bloggers of any significant changes via email and dashboard notice. Changes that materially reduce the service will be notified at least 30 days in advance.

10. The Founding Member programme

The Founding Member programme is available to a limited number of bloggers during DishFare's launch phase. Once the founding cohort is established, the programme closes permanently. Founding Members receive a permanently reduced rate on any optional paid features we introduce — always less than the standard rate. Founding Member status is personal to the original blogger and is not transferable.

11. Termination

Either party may end the arrangement at any time. You may leave DishFare at any time by emailing hello@dishfare.com. We may remove a blogger immediately if these terms are breached. On termination for any reason, your content will be removed from the platform and confirmed in writing.

12. Limitation of liability

DishFare provides a discovery and traffic channel. We do not guarantee specific levels of traffic, click-throughs, or revenue. Results depend on platform growth, cook behaviour, and content quality. DishFare is not liable for loss of income, loss of traffic, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the platform.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.

14. Contact

DishFare is operated by Mary Ruddy, Dingle, County Kerry, Ireland. Email: hello@dishfare.com.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will notify all active bloggers by email and via their dashboard at least 30 days before changes take effect. Continued use of DishFare after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
